Games that I enjoy are:

• Minecraft - An eternal joy of mine despite my lack of general minecrafting skills, but MYCTers and mods like Origins bring me great love and appreciation for life. If you prefer a slightly less chaotic vibe, check out the new Secret Life series a bunch of youtubers are working on, including Grian, GoodTimesWithScar, Smallishbeans, LDShadowlady and MumboJumbo. • Among Us - I'm a terrible imposter, but the memes are funny.
• Terraria - Bought this for Christmas, every single time I think I've gotten good at the game, the difficulty level rises and I die another 15 times, but it is very cute. 2D minecraft with a magic system and the villagers have personalities, I suppose is the easiest way to describe it.
• Stardew Valley - Rip to my free time but this is literally the best game ever. I downloaded it 2 months before my final exams, at a time when I was supposed to be studying. Nah. Over 50 hours in those 2 months. This game sucked me in and rewrote my personality - I need everyone in Stardew Village to love me, and appreciate my cringefail farm and fashion style. Brilliant game where you can set up your own farm, forage, fish, mine gems, or just talk to the villagers all day long. Best slice of life game I've encountered so far.

My favourite MYCTers are:

• Eret - a queer icon who looks amazing in every outfit and forever holds my queer heart
• Quackity - his humour is amazing and he is so hardworking, how could I not love him?
• The entirety of the Bench Trio: Tommyinnit, Tubbo and Ranboo. All of them are hilarious and talented people living their best lives - I love them all so much
• Philza Minecraft aka Dadza, who holds a special place in my heart for his british humour and stunning builds in minecraft worlds. Him and Kristen's chaotic energy gives me life
• Fundy, who loves his cats and works so hard on his videos - His reactions to minecraft logic always makes me laugh. His videos where he codes his fans and friends dumb ideas are pure gold
• Niki Nihachu, who vaguely terrifies Tommy and is able to keep up with both Jack Manifold and Wilbur Soot, her videos are so calming and lovely
• Technoblade, the Blood God - His dry wit and sarcasm give me life.
• (For those unaware, Technoblade died of cancer in June 2022. He was a constant source of joy in my life, and will continue to inspire people even after his death. Words cannot express how grateful I am to him; He was a wonderful person and we will miss him always. Fly high king.)

I may have a slightly unhealthy obsession with Minecraft that may prevent me from doing my work in a timely manner, but the amount of joy I gain from it is enough to make up for all the missed deadlines. The new update adding cherry blossoms signaled the end of my free time. Take an extract of the Minecraft End Poem to fill any void in your heart, my friend.
